attended another wedding dinner today... this is I think the 5th wedding dinner that I've attended this year... xiong leh.... but this time is dear's secondary sch fren... shu chun's wedding... and is last min that we decided to go...

dinner held at Guilin Restuarant in ulusamy Bukit Batok... super far can... its a simple wedding.. only got 1 march in... much more simpler than liwen's... and the food sucks... 1st time in my life that I find onions in sharks' fins soup... and 1st time in my life that I tasted fake abalone (confirmed not abalone but is "abalone" made from flour) in non-vegetarian resturant... me and dear din even finish the whole course then go liao... no offence to shu chun though.. maybe he got his difficulties.

but think of it... marriage really will change a person... I still remember the last time we saw him at dear's 21st bday.. he was just like a sec sch kid.. now.. he looks so mature... really different sia.. somehow I find shu chun's wife familiar.. but dunno where have I seen her...

after attending so many wedding dinners.. I am more determined to save up/earn more money... I tell myself everytime... I must not lose face... my wedding dinner must be presentable enough that at least 70% of the guest will compliment instead of complaining.. even if my wedding dinner is to be held in a restuarant.. I will make sure the food is edible and tasty enough to "entertain" my guests...

looking at the rate that I am saving/earning.. I think my chance will come only after 5 years.. by then I will 28... hmm.. still not so bad.. haha...

and I realize that shotgun marriages are so so common now... really wonder where all the "values" had gone...
