many days no update blog liao... hope I still have "readers" out there... lol... back from bkk on friday night... our return flight delayed by 1 hr... bo bian waited for about 2 hrs at the airport doing nth... =.=''' but this trip really tires me out... haha... now I know the feeling of "shop till you drop"... shiok man... my memory is failing on me recently... dun wan to make my blog too draggy also... I'll try to cut things short...

hotel
Baiyoke Sky Hotel... this is the tallest hotel(88 floors) in Thailand... my rating for this hotel is 9/10... very nice experience... especially the view from the hotel room.... woohoo... really fantastic... can see the whole bangkok at a glance... beautiful... the room big also... machiam like the size of my living room... super relaxed... the toilet very big also... bigger than my hse de... =.='''... got bathtub and standing shower separately somemore... nice... dressing table, mini fridge, tv, "walk-in" wardrobe with no doors and safe box... oh man... how I wish my the room is my own room... super shiok...

other than that, the hotel has an observation deck at 77th floor... cool man... breakfast everyday also shiok... international buffet everyday... no wonder I put on weight... and the location of our hotel is great also... a few mins can reach the wholesale garment market... fantastic...

the plus point of this hotel is the 360 degrees revolving deck at the 84th floor... power.. can see everything in a bird's view... too bad we dun have a chance to vist it at night.. only during day time.. I think the view on top at night will be really fantastic...

shopping
places like Baiyoke Garment Center, Pratunam Center and Platinum Mall are great... things there are super cheap... dunno why pple in forums dun think so... strange eh... dear and me shop and shop... and keep going back to the hotel to put our things... haha... everything really cheap... tops can cost as low as $1 or $2.. jeans and denim skirt only $6-8 per piece.. cutting very nice also... bags and shoes also about $8 there... and earrings lowest is $0.20 highest $3 per pair... I almost go bersek... haha... when buy 3 items... its consider wholesale there... and the wholesale prices are normally half or lesser than the retail price... some shops can bargain even at wholesale price somemore... wahahaha..

we also went to the famous MBK, the bags here cheap also... pple say its expensive.. I think the price is affordable... to us, places like Siam Paragon, Siam Square, Siam Center, Suan Lum are really expensive... machiam like our Taka, Wisma and Paragon... Dunno why forum pple say the things are cheap... hmmm... Suan Lum, though the things are expensive, the food there not bad eh.... we ordered the Pat-Thai and Tom Yam Soup... its nice... still got live band in the food center also...

other than those places above, we take a walk to the Victory Monument Market as well... nth much there.. mostly roadside vendors.. Big C, Indra Square, Pratunam Market, World Trade Center etc are places are we went... we visited the 4-face buddha during our free city tour on the 2nd day... kinda disappointed eh... cos I thought it would be very big.... but otherwise leh... =X

massage/manicure
dear and me tried the traditional Thai Massage on the last day at Pratunam Center... shiok man... all my joints not so tense liao... feel so relaxed... cheap also... $6 each person nia... lol.. dear tried the aromatherathy oil massage as well.. he say shiok also... he fell aslp while doing... about $12... haha... me, did the manicure and pedicure for only $10 (for both)... but hor I dun think that they did a good job... nvm la... $5 for each nia... so cant expect much... after the massage/manicure/pedicure, the pple there intro me to do nail art... cool man... but hor the nail art lady not free... so we went to have our lunch... but after we come back, she went for lunch... waited for her for abt 10min... as we need to catch our flight.. so bo bian.... wasted sia... finally I found traditional nail art instead of nail art by machine de... but no chance to do... walked one round and saw one nail art for $3 nia... me wanted to do nail art so much... bo bian lor... went in and do but is by machine de... lucky overall the result still not bad... hmm... I still prefer the traditional one... hope I got chance to do one day...

food
one thing we dun understand... dunno why the foodcourts in bangkok have this "coupon rule"... before we buy our food, we have to buy the coupons and the use the coupons to buy the food... so leh-jeh... use money can liao ma... abit waste time eh... and hor the serving there all so little... eat le not very full eh... dear go there machiam like 饿鬼.. keep saying he is hungry... eat and eat... haha... me on the other hand, cannot feel the hunger at all... dunno why also...

me and dear very lucky... we went to the old airport when arriving and to the new airport when returning... and on the day we come back, is the actual day of the opening of the new airport.... lol... we even got a certificate from the jet* and the new airport.... haha... but too bad I din take photo of the old airport... wasted... all dear's fault... say what can take when we return... who knows we went to the new airport... humph...

bye bye bangkok... after this trip... my bargaining skills better liao... wahaha... I definitely will go back again... but dunno when nia.... will upload my photos later... need to sort it out.... hmmm.... dunno what I have missed out... haiz... my memory getting from bad to worse liao...
